Abstract

Presents personal information (e.g., age, education, occupation, income) and scores on a scale measuring attitudes toward change and innovation from 100 farmers, 100 rural workers, and 100 urban workers. "Industrialization in urban as well as in rural settings influences attitudes to change and innovation in the direction of modernity. However, this influence is significant only when industrialization is aided by urbanization.
