The Indian Journal of Psychiatric Social Work is an international; peer-reviewed/refereed open access, indexed journal, primarily publishes original articles pertinent to social work practice in the mental health and health field. However, the journal also publishes contemporary practice or clinical practice with individuals, couples, families, groups and community from the multidiscipline namely psychology, social psychiatry, psychiatric nursing, rehabilitation professionals since it promotes multidisciplinary approaches in mental health and health. The journal intends to impart innovative theoretical framework, efficient practice and evidence-based clinical research.

Peer Review Process
All submissions, except editorial, will be screened by the editors for suitability and matching the journal policies and style. If it is found suitable then submissions will be forwarded for peer review to two or more peer reviewers blind peer review. After receiving reviewers comment editor will communicate the corresponding author about the decision. The author may be asked to review or rewrite the part or the whole submission. Editor reserved the right to reject the submission or decline publication without giving any reason.
The journal is not charging any submission, processing and publication fee or charges.
The Indian Journal of Psychiatric Social Work is not sponsored by any organization/institute/agency. It's fully dependent on the subscriptions.
This journal provides open access free of cost to all.
