Author Guidelines
Before submitting your manuscript to the Indian Journal of Psychiatric Social Work, please review the Aims and Scope section available under About the Journal on our website.
Manuscript Preparation: Authors should prepare their manuscripts according to the Indian Journal of Psychiatric Social Work's guidelines https://pswjournal.org/index.php/ijpsw/about/submissions
Online Submission: Submit your manuscript through our online submission system at https://pswjournal.org/index.php/ijpsw/about/submissions
This is compulsory to enable a fast and transparent review process. New authors are required to register as authors, a simple two-step procedure which is a simple self-explanatory process.
For online submission, articles should be prepared in two files: a first-page file (cover letter) and an article file with the abstract. To ensure blind review, please remove author information from the manuscript file and include it only in the separate first-page file during submission.
This is an online manuscript processing system that allows the submission of articles with tracking of their progress till the proof stage. If the article is submitted electronically, there is no need to send a hard copy.
Cover Letter: Include a cover letter stating that the submission is for the special issue on Behavioural Addiction Prevention and Treatment and briefly describe how the manuscript fits within the scope of the issue.
Use of AI Tools: The use of AI tools to generate ideas is prohibited. However, using AI to enhance the grammar and readability of the authors' original work is allowed. Please declare and fully describe any use of artificial intelligence (AI) tools in any aspect of your research in your submission to the IJPSW. Include this information before the reference section.
Reference Style: The journal follows the Vancouver reference style, which must be adhered to. References should be numbered consecutively in the order in which they are first mentioned in the text. Identify references in the text, tables, and legends by Arabic numerals in superscript within square brackets ([.]) after full stops or commas.
Conflicting Interests: Please ensure that a "Declaration of Conflicting Interests" statement is included at the end of your manuscript, following any acknowledgements and preceding the references. If no conflict exists, please state that "The Author(s) declare(s) that there is no conflict of interest".
Ethical consideration: Mention of ethical committee approval status for research papers, included at the end of your manuscript, following any acknowledgements and preceding the references.
Peer Review Process
All submitted manuscripts will undergo a rigorous double-blind peer review process to ensure the publication of high-quality research. Each submission will be reviewed by at least two independent reviewers and the guest editor.
