A Study of the Attitude of Newly Hospitalised Mental Patients Towards their Hospitalisation and Homes

Studied the attitudes of 100 male patients recently admitted to a mental hospital. Findings indicate that social stigma was the major reason for resistance to hospitalization and that those who were voluntarily admitted responded better to treatment than those who came unwillingly.
