<p>The <strong>Indian Journal of Psychiatric Social Work</strong> is an international; peer-reviewed/refereed open access, indexed journal, that primarily publishes original articles pertinent to social work practice in the mental health and health field. However, the journal also publishes contemporary practice or clinical practice with individuals, couples, families, groups and communities from the multidiscipline namely psychology, social psychiatry, psychiatric nursing, and rehabilitation professionals since it promotes multidisciplinary approaches in mental health and health. It looks at both the current trends and the processes involved in preparing social workers to meet the needs of patients and healthcare systems.<br /><br />The Indian Journal of Psychiatric Social Work is pleased to announce a special issue dedicated to exploring innovative research, interventions, and policies in training the social work students for the emerging demands in health care settings.<br /><br />Scope and Objectives<br /><br />This special issue aims to showcase the latest research and evidence-based practices in the field of practice education and training for students in health care settings. We invite submissions on the following themes:<br /><br />1. Social work educators and Practitioners encounter within the multidisciplinary team in health settings.<br />2. Effectiveness of Health social workers in Community health projects in India <br />3. Inclusion of mental health social workers in decision making and holistic rehabilitation plans for mental health service users. <br />4. Health social workers engagement in patients' medico- legal and ethical aspects in hospitals.<br />5. Mental Health and Health Social Work educator scope of alignment with practice context in health settings.<br /><br /><strong>Submission Guidelines</strong><br /><br />We welcome researchers, clinicians, and policymakers to submit original research articles, reviews, case studies, and commentaries that align with the themes of this special issue. New authors are required to register as authors, a simple two-step procedure. To ensure blind review, please remove author information from the manuscript file and include it only in the separate first-page file during submission.<br />Cover Letter: Include a cover letter stating that the submission is for the special issue on Behavioural Addiction Prevention and Treatment and briefly describe how the manuscript fits within the scope of the issue.<br />Use of AI Tools: The use of AI tools to generate ideas is prohibited. However, using AI to enhance the grammar and readability of the authors' original work is allowed. Please declare and fully describe any use of artificial intelligence (AI) tools in any aspects of your research in your submission to the IJPSW. Include this information before the reference section.<br />Reference Style: The journal follows the Vancouver reference style, which must be adhered to. References should be numbered consecutively in the order in which they are first mentioned in the text. Identify references in the text, tables, and legends by Arabic numerals in superscript within square brackets ([.]) after full stops or commas.<br />Conflicting Interests: Please ensure that a "Declaration of Conflicting Interests" statement is included at the end of your manuscript, following any acknowledgements and preceding the references.
